Flash-Drafting is the best way to lure students -- even the most hesitant ones -- into writing!

In this session, we'll

• learn a rationale and process for the basics of flash-drafting (and you'll get to try it)!
• learn strategies for modifying and adding to the flash-draft process to help students embrace revision.
• visualize flash drafting as a series of different learning progressions that can move students toward writing independence
• chat about using flash drafts as a tool for writerly metacognition and identity-building
• see flash drafting as a tool for conferring with students, parents, and other stakeholders
