Teaching Students to Build Word Connections

In this session, Rebekah shares a handful of classroom activities to teach students to build connections with the words they are exploring PLUS five new field note categories in which students can practice these skills. Additionally, she shares a project (with downloadable instructions) to help students expand their word-connection skills by creating curated dictionaries.
