This webinar, available on-demand, will introduce you to 10 poems in about 30 minutes, along with a link-library handout where you can find each poem for deeper reading. Learn how poems can be springboards for all sorts of other writing genres that you need to teach through the winter from reflective essays to narratives to arguments to research.

This is NOT a collection of holiday poems and snow poems to fill time. Each pause affords you and your students the chance to dig deeper into thinking that helps writers grow in all genres, embracing the lessons of the literal and figurative dark days and sustaining our hope for better seasons ahead.
